Leavitt, 28, confirmed on Instagram on December 26, 2025 that she and her husband Nicholas Riccio are expecting a baby girl in May 2026. The post celebrated the growing family and thanked colleagues for their support. She also hosted a baby shower in March attended by friends including Pam Bondi and Katie Miller.
Leavitt, who welcomed her first child in July 2024, told reporters on April 24 that she expected to step back soon and that an upcoming gaggle would likely be her last for a while. She said colleagues would handle media duties during her absence and hinted she was very near her due date.
